does anybody know how to remove the water pump housing on a 1.4 petrol 53 plate? i was replacing the water pump and the top bolt has sheered off so need to remove the housing for access to enable me to drill the bolt out, hope you can help

I don't know how much room you have or how feasible it is to drill in situ but a right angle drill is very compact and gets into narrow spaces. Probably a long shot but might be worth talking to your tool hire company.
