Hi Everyone,i have a problem my 206 05 reg
The rear wiper wont switch off, when you switch it off at the stalk the wiper comes down to its resting place you here the relay clicking but the wiper carries on and will eventualy randomly stop anywhere.
If you leave the wiper in this position then when you come back to the car and open it with the fob it will start up again until it either stops in the right position or randomly again and everytime it comes down to where it should be the relay starts clicking.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Many thanks

Sounds like some corrupt data in the BSI. You could try a BSI reboot, failing that it will be a trip to the dealer for a BSI software update.

Thanks for the advice macca. Any ideas price wise for a software update at the dealers? I will have a Google into a bsi reboot. Is this something a car novice can do?

Details of how to do the reboot are in the beginners guide.

A dealer will probably charge anywhere upwards of £60 for an update.
