Hi all,
I recently bought 1999 206 1.9d van, it has DW8 engine, there is no ecu it is preplexed model I think.
After I serviced it I managed to get 44.6 mpg. I aproximately use it 55 - 60 miles distance everyday. Half of this distance is in city and the other half at freeway. I try to use higher possible gear with lower rpm (it doesnt have rpm gauge by the way).
Does 44.6mpg good enough ?
Cheers
Cypriot

I believe the official MPG rating was 48-52MPG so it's not bad at all providing I'm correct, hopefully someone can clarify?

Hello,
Previously I only got about 44.2 - 44.5 - 44.6 mpg
I managed 46mpg per gallon this time. I think it will be better because rear left wheel bearing was faulty / noisy which replaced today. Also last time when I topped up fuel used stp injector cleaner which was only product to buy at that petrol station.

Next time I 'll use other half of the bottle.
By the way which diesel fuel additive you advise ?
The following product can be buy also in my country.
