can anyone give me any info about the GT and it's air bags, mine has the normal air bag light and one to the left that looks if it has 2 small seat belts and 2 small side things, may be side air bags, both are orange, these lights have been doing my head in, i got both sorted last week but Monday i hit a bump getting out the way of an ambulance, the left light came on again grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

under my seat is a white connector, it's hanging and i can't see where it plugs in.
today i looped a wire to see if the car has a red seat belt warning light but nope, but looping this wire has turned the left orange light off, what on earth is going on with my gt, has someone removed a belt tensioners.and fitted the wrong ones, left seat has no white connector.

i,m seeing orange lights in my sleep lmao. Mad

The white plug is for the red seatbelt not fastened warning lamp, its NOT connected in anyway to the airbag or seatbelt pretension system.

Scan it with Peugeot Planet & see what errors are stored in the airbag system.

Thanks, on the reader it started a problem with side airbags and front passenger one, also it kept stating wiring issues.

Me and my macanic took the front airbag passenger out, the conecter was ok but we noticed that the same type on ebay had more wires than mine, mine had 1 large orange wire and 1 small, airbags on ebay for the similar car there was twice as many.

I do know the car has had some big faults with airbags and pretentioners, it didn't pass its mot the owner had it repaired but what evers wrong its doing it again.

Does the gt have seatbelt warning lights and should it be a red light?

Multiplexed 206's have dual stage airbags & will have more wires.

Non plexed 206 with side airbags like you have actually has 3 airbag control units

Master unit does front airbags & seatbelts.

Then there is a separate airbag slave unit for each side airbag.

Only if it has the drivers buckle with sensor fitted & connected to the white plug under the seat.

The seatbelt not fastened light is red.

The owner before me had problems with both airbags and seatbelts, if the gt has seatbelt tensioner thats is contected to wiring then my car has the wrong tensioners as mine has no wiring.

206 seatbelt pretensioners are NOT attached to the seat belt buckle so there is NO wiring for them under the seats.

The pretensioner is part of the seat belt REEL hidden inside the B piller.

Its for the red seatbelt not fastened warning lamp, a lot of 206 have this plug on the loom but it's only connected when the seatbelt buckle with sensor is also fitted.
