Need some advice, my 206 16v 1.6 has started to have starting probems ,it takes a few turns of key to start, its even worse once warmed up to start, and when driving tends to judder and if floored once it hits 4k rpm then sounds like VTEC crossover,in traffic it it starts to over heat

Start up issues I'd be looking at things like battery, spark plugs, coil pack.
Good way to test this would be to overload the car before the final ignition turn, so stick AC/CC on, radio, rear window heater, any and everything electrical and then see if it takes more turns then normal to start. If it does then possible battery issue, if it doesn't then spark plugs or coil pack likely to be at fault.
Over heating could be a few things, start with making sure the fans are kicking in when they should. What sort of temps are we talking to?
Finally multiplex or pre plex out of interest for the sake of not
having to ask later?
