I changed the brake light switch on my 206 and now the brakes have all locked up any ideas how to cure this

Only thing I can think off is that the link rod from the pedal to the servo is somehow being fouled from when the switch was changed, causing the brakes to lock in the applied position.
Is it all 4 wheels locked on, or just one? Might have to jack each corner up to find out. Possibly a piston has failed to return when you were checking the switch was working.

maybe it needs adjusting,i mean the pedal switch,is your car have automatic trans.?

Many thanks all sorted the New brake switch was pushed in to far i just eased it back by
