Hi all.
I own a 2007 peugeot 206 with automatic transmission and NFU 1600 engine.
The top mount come with two bushes in both sides. (Part numbers 1844.A1 and 1844.A2)
In which case this two bushes need to be replace?
I know that in my car there is a small gap between the mount bracket and this bushes but any way when i get the car into R gear the engine lay on the front bush and when i put in D gear the engine lay on the rear bush.
How can i know if this bushes are in good shape?
Best regards.

They are supposed to move. As long as there are no funny noises I would leave them alone.

Well the way you described it,is the way it supposed to work, but usually these bushes get dry with years,so sometimes the head of each bush fell off,and also because of the pressure of the engine move, makes it's height lower, which makes the distance that the main engine mount travel longer, and makes it hit harder,I recommend that you replace them with new OEM ones.
