Been having the classic airbag fault, and handbrake fault when starting her up in the mornings, whilst owning my peugeot for 7+ years now, i know this to be a sign of a new battery time.

The battery i have on the car at the moment is a bosch 60AH, which is 3.5 years old, thought it would last me for another year at least.

Been searching for prices etc, come accross a Vetech 55AH £60 from GFS, are these any good, seems a bit cheap to me.

Would appreciate if anyone knows of any good deals at the moment.

Is there a big difference in the 55AH and 60AH

I recommend VARTA or FIAMM batterys, and not much difference between 55 and 60 AH,but having 60AH is better for the long run,as it holds more charge than 55Ah.

Good deals on the Varta D15 if you order it online, £55 delivered if you look in right place Cool

The Varta D15 is the correct battery for a 206 HDI 2.0 & will come with a 5 year warranty.

Ahhh too late, Not enough power in battery this morning to start the car, green flag came out and started it, 12.4 on battery before i fired up, then he said 14.2 on charging, anyhow went and bought a exile £54. 3 year guarantee. Went and bought one whilst the car was still running.

Wish i had read your post before buying, ah well.
Thanks all.
