Front/rear wiper motors have stopped working at the same time. Completely dead, no sign of life from either. Topped up fluid recently. Have checked fuse under bonnet and it seems fine. 206 has 1124cc petrol engine. Any ideas please?

Will do, but I couldn't find a reference in the car's handbook to washer pumps in the fuse box inside the car.

Are we talking wiper motors or washer pump motor?

Only one washer pump for both front and rear, so that might narrow the problem down.

Is the car pre-plex or multi-plexed?

It's the screen washers that are not working. Wasn't aware that there maybe only one motor for both! How do I tell whether the car is pre-plex or multi plex? Only have the handbook that came with the car so info is very limited. As before, the car is 1124cc petrol and 2003.

Multi-plexed is from October 2001, so yours is multi-plexed.

Has it been particularly cold where you are? Has the water frozen in the washer bottle or pipes?

Thanks for that! No not really cold at all as we live in Cyprus! It has been nippy overnight, about ten days ago, when the temperature was down to around 4/5'C on several nights but not cold enough for the water to freeze I would have thought. We live near the coast so it never gets cold enough for ice.....different matter up in the mountains!

Have substituted the fuse with another in the fuse box under the bonnet with no change. I've looked at the handbook and there is no reference to the washer pump in the fuse box inside the car. As far as I'm aware the pump has just stopped working, no strange noises or intermittent operation. Bit of a mystery really. Car is the wife's and is only used occasionally for local trips. The car has completed approx. 145,000kms and has been regularly serviced/maintained.
