So after a bit of research I still can't conclude what the cause of my problem is exactly. Confused
I have a 2001 Peugeot LX 1.9D (5 Door) and the Central locking has been giving me grief.
When the car is locked and I press the unlock button the key fob, all the doors unlock no problems there. I have to be standing fairly close to the car and I really have to squeeze down on the button but it works so no complaints.
However when the car is fully open and I press the lock button on the key fob the drivers side lock can be heard locking and the immediately unlocking. Im not sure if this is the case for the passenger side door either. So the only way to get all of the doors to lock is to manually lock the passenger side door with the key. The drivers side cannot be locked using the manual key because the lock mechanism just doesn't turn.

If anybody could shed any light on this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I can't afford to be taking her to the garage and paying out of the ass for this small problem Cool
Thanks lads
