I have a 55 plate 1.4 sport 16v with standard electric wing mirrors and I have bought a pair of the gloss black gti wing mirrors to fit but the block connectors are completely different could anyone tell me how I can get them working (I know the gti ones are both electric moving and folding and don't mind is they just move electrically like my standard ones) I hope this makes sense
Thanks in advance Amy x

I warn you both now, there bloody expensive from Peugeot
Be far easier to look through the Peugeot connectors page & find the connector to convert the mirror itself.

Thanks is there any way I can just cut off both blocks and hard wire them so they just work as electric like I already have? If so do you know what wires to connect etc sorry for all the questions x

As far as I've seen stated here on the board previously, the connectors might be layed out in a 3x3 or a 2x5 grid, but the wires should have the same pin number in both cases... I.e. pin 1 on the car side should always connect to pin 1 on the mirror side, and so on, regardless of the connector type used.The elec. schemas I've seen makes no notice of differences due to plug.
Not sure if there's a difference between mirrors on pre-plex and multiplexed 206's (don't see a need/cause for it though - the mirrors, just like say the rear lights, are 'beyond' the bus )

Right I get the first part as the gti wing mirror has a 3x3 block and mine is a 5x5 the second (I maybe a bit dim sorry) after the pre and multiplex what do you mean? If I take a picture of the inside of each plug the one coming from my car and the one on the gti wing mirror so you can see the set out of the pins could you tell me which wires to connect to get them working on my car please?
Again so sorry for asking loads and seeming a bit dim
But thank you for your advise so far x

Let's look at the wiring for the washer pump;
Pre-plex - Power and ground into the stalk switch. there's direct wiring from the stalk switch to the motor. The switch handles the full power and switches power and ground around to the two wires to the pump.
Multiplexed - the stalk switch gives some inputs to the BSI. BSI creates a message that is sent over the CAN/VAN bus to the fuse box in the engine bay. There a CPU reads the message and turns on one of two relays in the fuse box depending on if you want fluid up front or on the rear screen.
In both cases the washer pump is the same. It only sees power and ground on its two inputs and spins accordingly. The pump is 'beyond the' bus (which ends at the engine bay fuse box).
In the case of the mirrors. IIRC there's power and ground going in to the switch unit. The joystick then moves a metal piece over a circuit board where it, dependent of position connects the power and ground to different wires going to the mirror, depending on which motor you want to turn which way (I.e. there are no CAN/VAN bus messages involved, the mirrors are 'beyond' the bus)
There's usually tiny numbers cast into the connectors shoving the pin numbers.
