Got my 206 1.4 LX a couple of months ago and am slowly working through its problems. Latest fix is the lock button on the remote key. Opened ok but not a thing when pressing button to lock. The problem: Damaged micro switch on the circuit board. Gawd knows how but someone had bust the top of the locking micro switch in the fob. Solution: Old switch unsoldered and removed, new micro switch soldered in. Cost: £1.26p, Result
Even with my shaky hands and weak eyes it was a simple job. Hardest part was holding the circuit board still while soldering and unsoldering. Solved with the aid of a crocodile clip gripped onto a table mat. Hi-tech stuff. Works perfect now.
