I was coming down the m60 and just as I got near the sip road my car cut out I managed to get near the to of the slip road but not get it started my wife came out with tow rope and diesel we put in the diesel no luck so towed it home and next day called the rac out he came tried to start it once and said it sounds like it's slipped a tooth but as I was coming off the motorway I was wondering what the damage could be and if it's worth fixing as its a 1999 year?

Location: What's it to you? ? ?

Pretty normal to snap the cam in to 3 bits on this old diesel donkey.

You really need to have a look & see exactly what damage has been caused.
