Hello All,
The car idles erratically, from almost cutting out to 1200, hot and cold. I know that this is a common problem and that the usual response is that the ICV requires replacement. I've found plenty of stuff relating to the 1.4l 8 valve model and where to find the ICV but where is it on the 16 valve model? Is there one on the 16 valve model?
I haven't had the car on diagnostics yet but will if the ICV (if it exists on this model) doesn't yield any results.
I am waiting for the Haynes manual to arrive to give me a better idea but if anyone can shine a light in the meantime I'd appreciate it.
Best regards
VJ

Its a fly by wire electronic throttle set up on this ET3 engine.
The motorised throttle body is known to be problematic.
Peugeot have also updated the engine ecu software as well which has been reported to help - Peugeot main dealer visit required if you want to have the software updated.
