Hello again. I bought a used O2 sensor from ebay to replace a broken one but I think the one I have could be a post cat sensor for a newer 206. My car has just the one before the cat. Are there many differences between the two...pre and post? Also, I have seen a few new ones that match my car (year, pre cat) on the bay for around £30. They say two years guarantee. Has anyone used the cheep after market sensors or coilpacks?

There is a difference .. the length of the cable between the lambda and plug .. you should get on to match or it may affect the operation (and before anyone asks why, Bosch are very careful in their instructions for their universal lambdas to make sure you cut the old cable at the correct point).
I've not found after-market ones to be that good .. buy cheap, buy twice. Personally having had all manner of issues with an NTK lambda (which is made by NGK so you'd expect it to be OK), I only use Bosch now ..
