Howdy all,
My old brandless battery of indeterminate age and quality needs replacing. I've always bought Bosch but this:
www.battery2u.co.uk/ty...ilver.aspx
Ticks a lot of boxes 61 ah, cold start 600, and 61 amp hours for £59.99. Anyone any experience with these batteries or recommend anything better for roughly the same money for my 1400 hdi ?

You do know that Bosch don't actually make there own car batteries?
Bosch car batteries are made by VARTA
I use the Varta D15 in both my 206's.
Had one fitted to my TU3 - 206 since October 2008

Varta or Bosch, whichever is cheaper / on offer.
I have Varta Silver dynamic batteries on both the 206's & my mothers Mondeo has a Bosch SIlver + as it was cheaper at the time she needed a new battery.
