Hey guys, I thought I would change my caliper because it failed on a binded brake, When changing the caliper and putting the new caliper on I noticed that the old caliper slider pins were stiff as hell when the bolts into them are fully tight, but if I slightly loosen them they go back and forth as they should. The pins are all lubed up fine and not corroded. Anyone else have this problem? I thought maybe they could be slightly bent?

One of mine is like this so it's slightly harder to spin one wheel than the other. I can only assume it's slightly bent. A new slider might fix it.

Everytime you replace the brake pads, the pins need to be cleaned and use silicone grease to lubricate it,and this will make the move smoother and easier

Mine are spotless with fresh grease and they are still stiff once tight.
