As titled we are having some issues with the Passenger Side driveshaft on a 1.4 8V 206 with an MA gearbox.
The issue started with a leaking oil seal, so we replaced the oil seals to hopefully resolve this; however, now it seems the driveshaft is not in all the way (even though its in as far as it'll go!) and the oil seal is not sealing the box and is leaking considerable amounts of oil.
Any help/advice would be great!

you might have a problem with inner axle itself,if the oil seal didn't fix it.

Have you changed the shaft before the problems?

Driveshafts are the same. Never had this problem on removal and re-fitting before.

Sounds like the diff is not fully alligned. Remove the other shaft and refit the one that isnt going in
Happened to me (didnt go as far as filling the box though), just a bit of faffing about with the driveshafts, dont forget to lube the shafts before entry

Check your gearbox bolts are tight as if they unscrew the box will part from the engine slightly pulling away from the offside shaft and leaking the oil, is the clutch ok? any grinding gears?
