Hi,
Bit of a weird problem here.
A couple of months ago, my engine management light came on while I was doing a long journey (52 plate GTi, 138 version). The multifunction display keeps telling me I have an antipollution fault too. It didn't seem to affect engine performance or fuel economy, so I forgot about it for a while. Anyway, I finally got around to borrowing an OBDII reader the other day. I hooked it up, and it didn't return any fault codes (?!). I tried deleting codes as well, but obviously this didn't work, and the engine light is still on.
I had a look at the live data, and I think I've found an indication of what might be wrong - 'fuelsys1 OL_FAULT'. That's all well and good, but without any codes, I have no idea where to start! Has anyone had a similar issue, or can suggest what it might be? Apparently, while the reader was designed for Peugeots/Citroens etc., it was a fairly cheap one, could that just be causing it to not read the codes that are actually there?
Thanks!

Needs to be read with Peugoet Planet to get rhe fault code. Cheap ones generally don't work.
