I am in the market for a set of alloys for my GTi at the moment. Originally I was looking at 16 or 17x7 but I am wondering if 17x8 would fit without scrubbing the wheel arches. I am running Gaz GHA coilovers.

Ive got 7.5j with 215 45 17 all around. Front is 40mm lowered and rear is 70mm. Rear only scrapes with rear passengers and only over bumps.
