Got a problem with the ABS on my 206. It started off as an intermittent fault and sometimes would clear itself, but it's slowly gotten worse to the point it's permanent, well I say permanent, once in a blue moon I can start the car, the ABS light will go out and as soon as I get over 5mph (fault trigger speed) it comes back with the fault.

Until the fault triggers the pedal feels strange it's felt the same when i've had a cracked ABS ring previously. I've had planet on it a few times, and the same fault keeps reappearing:

"ABS ECU Permanent fault. ABS/ASR (traction control) re circulation pump. Pump locked, CO, CC- or CC+"

But tonight as well I also had a coherence fault on a wheel sensor which is something new.

I've had a quick look on autodata and the pinout diagram doesn't seem to match the plug on mine. But using the continuity tester on my multi-meter and by unplugging the sensors one by one i've worked out which pin's are for which sensors. But I can not get a resistance measurement on any range on my meter at the plug on the pump or on the pins on the plugs from the sensors.

Anybody got any advice on where to go next?

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

Spin the wheel & you should get a small AC voltage waveform reading from the ABS sensor if its working currently.
