hi I have a 1.2 206 04 plate, car runs fine in normal use but is drinking fuel at an alarming rate, there seem to be starvation of fuel or air when you accelerate and the exhaust seems over loud. car has been serviced, fitted new coil pack and been on diagnostic machine but nothing showed up. there are no warning lights showing and starts first time everytime.

Could be something to do with the lambda as it controls the fuel mixture and it sounds like its max fueling but try running it momentarily with it disconnected and see if there is any difference.
Does the car stink of petrol? If petrol has entered the exhaust it will have destroyed the catalytic converter internally and the brick inside will have possibly collapsed and blocked up the hole.
