as the title says, is there no sidelights in them? or is there a certain type bulb or way to fit them?. the ones fitted to my car only work on normal beam no sidelights at all .. would they not fail an mot ?

Yes they have sidelights. A normal 5 bulb. Fitted inside the full beam.

the wiring for the sidelight is the same as any of the lights in the 206 range.
I would suggest checking the connections if they are both not working.
