Hi.
I'm investigating an issue I have with my Petrol 1.4 2004 206 S
My car idles very lumpy and 'hunts' while stationary, to the point where it will go up to 1500 Rpm, then down to 850 Rpm then back up, almost stalling as it drops.
Now upon investigation, Ive noticed that when I disconnect the plug in (GREEN) there's a lot of air and the car stops hunting and keeps a steady idle, I reconnect and the car starts hunting again, can anyone tell me what might be the problem here..
Also... where does the end of the pipe go in (RED)
I will be getting the codes read in the next couple of days.
Thanks

there could be a blockage in the pipe, i had a problem with mine where the pipe had melted and sealed itself up so i had to cut and repair it.

The green arrow is the breather pipe they do get blocked and collapse.
The red arrow is a fuel line

As the guys said above, the Green arrow for the breather hose, and the red arrow it might be the return fuel line for the canister valve.
Try to clean the throttle body, and the stepper motor,as it's the majority for idle problems caused by it,when the breather is disconnected from the intake manifold the car get better because it's not sucking air from the camshaft, and the air goes freely.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I will hopefully have this looked at this weekend.
I have my assumptions as to what is wrong with the car.
But until I have the codes read, I wont know for sure.
