Hello,

My car is due a new timing belt but after removing the wheel arch I've found an oil leak. Seems like it's coming from the crankshaft pulley though I can't be 100% sure as I haven't been able to fully inspect it yet due to the weather conditions but it seems to bee all around that area - Can't see it much higher above the pulley.
If so which seal do I require, I looked on Europarts but they have two different crankshaft pulley seals for the timing end.

I had the Aux belt replaced last about a year/2-3k ago and not long after I could hear a knocking/vibrating noise coming from the engine, especially when in 2nd - 3rd gear at a low speed.
The aux belt is slightly on the edge of the pulley. Could a woren pulley have caused this or would it be the crankshaft pulley itself?

You are better off asking Peugeot Dealer or checking on ServiceBox .. they might not be that expensive from Peugeot either.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Replace the lower pulley as well. If it's never been changed it may be the old part design which is known to break down and cause the knocking you describe.

If Peugeot are local to you the part is cheap enough, and you should get the right one!

Closest Pug dealer is near a 4 hour trip there and back. I got the part number for my car from servicebox which made it easier to find.

I've attached some photos. Would I be right in saying that's the hole for locking off the cam? And I've got under the car and took a photo - There's 2 holes there (I've numbered them 1 and 2) Which one locks the flywheel?

I was told to put it in firth gear and loosing the crankshaft bolt first (not remove just loosing) then lock the flywheel and cam and fully remove the crank, but when I tried to remove the bolt it's quite stiff and my crankshaft pulley rotated anticlockwise. Would that have put it out of time?

Thanks
