Hi Every One,

I have just bought a Peugeot 206 1.4 XR S Edition 2005. It is a really well maintained car except one problem. The lights for AC/Heater control along with Multi function display are off. Every thing else is working perfectly fine but the lights are off.

Could you please help me by guiding me how to fix it.As I am new and this is also my first car.

Thanks In Advance

Its probably just the bulbs that Illuminate the unit that have blown and need replacing.

onHI,

Thanks for the information. Is there any thread or information where I can see how to change the bulbs?

This Howto shows how to change the colour of the upper display. At step 2 you have access to the bulbs at the back of the display (twist a 1/4 turn or so and pull out).

For the AC display you then need then loosen a couple of screws for the center part of the console and pull it off the clips, then another few screws to loosen the AC display itself. Screws will be of the Torx type, don't recall which size though.

Hello, Go to You Tube and Enter how to remove the Multi function Display unit Peugeot 206, I did mine last week and is very easy, Peugeot cannot tell you the correct Wattage, I replaced all 3 with Capless 1.2 Watt and get just the bulbs and use the original holders, Got mine from Halford's, I removed the unit and took it in as I did not know the Wattage. Unless you are going LED's in which case you want 0.2 Watt ones
