Hello from me and I have a Peugeot 206 1400cc 8v no automatic is manual gearbox and want to change the oil but do not know how to empty the old oil that is in the container, where it will put the new oil, and how I will see if I put the correct amount of new oil in the container.
Moter model is KFX
Thanks a lot for your help

Don't know how to empty the oil .
There is a drain plug on the bottom of the gear box ..
Just like the engine has a sump plug..
Undo it and put a bowl under to gearbox to catch the old fluid..
Check how much fluid your gearbox holds & put the amount into the gearbox through the plug on the top. There is a breather hole you could also fill it up through.
It's awkward to fill it up .. Bottle and pipe. Cut the bottom of the bottle & top it up as I goes down ..

8V has a combined filler / lever plug. It is a while since I have refilled one but it is tucked about halfway up the gearbox between the gearbox and front of the car. I seem to recall that it is square headed plug but may be wrong. Fill the box until oil starts to run out of that filler plug; that is the correct level. You will need the type of oil container that has a flexible plastic tube. It is a bit of a bugger to do without spilling oil. With the right tools (pump action filler with right angle tube) might be easier from below but I don't have those tools so have never tried.

Loosen 1 AND 2 ... do higher one first (1) and leave it out, then remove lower one (2).
Put them both back before you start to refill .. have seen it done!
