Does anyone know where the throttle cable is on this engine model? Noob question and probs an easy answer? Hoping there is one..

Might help if you supplied more details about the car but to me it looks like you have the digital throttle installed meaning there isn't one.

Draw a line on that picture straight up from the dipstick. The aluminium thing your line goes through is the throttle body. The cable (if there was one) would be facing you attached to that.

That's a 1.4 16V isn't it? Will be motorised throttle body on it.

Correct, electronic fly by wire throttle.

FWIW: The throttle body is a known weak spot on this lump.
