Hi all,

I have a W-reg 206 GTi (pre-plex) with "RFR" in the VIN. Does this mean I have the "DEW10J4" engine variant?

And if so, what's different to the "EW10J4" variant?

A Y reg should have an RFN which means it has two lambda sensors.

That's because I put the wrong letter. It's a W-reg!

As far as I know the only difference between RFN/RFR
ew10 engines is the two lambdas. Although some earlier engines had adjustable vernier pulleys. There might have been other minor differences too.
