Hello again. I'm having small problems with my 206 Gti and I hope you guys help me.
First of all, is it alright that engine temp ranges to 80-90? When I'm driving (especially highway, but sometimes in the city) it drops to ~80-85 degrees, when I'm stationary it goes up to 90 or even more (then the fan does his job).
Can cold air flow cool my engine that fast? I'm used that engine temp stays at 90 degrees all the darn time!
I've changed thermostat (Vernet) and coolant a week ago, it didnt changed.
Secondly, I'm planing to put polyurethane into control arms to stiff my suspension a bit. The problem is its going to be a bit expensive to change all four bushings at once. I'm thinking of changing two now.
Does anybody know which bushings are best to change (front or rear)?
Or should I save and change all of them at once?
Whats more, my original Peugeot's blaupunkt radio asks for code everytime I turn the ignition or start the engine.
As far as I remember, it didnt ask for it untill I took it out for the first time. Or the time I took the battery off. Or it did ask for it, I dont really remember!
Is it normal to enter code everytime?

1. Thats normal for the engine to sit around that temperature, if you really unsure, bleed the cooling system again after replacing the temperature sensor
2. The main ones i would do are the front ARB and rear axle bushes (dont bother with the inserts, only fit the full bush), the others arent worth it in my eyes
3. Does it forget the code? As once its be input after forgetting the code, it should never ask again

Is it worth installing front strut bar? I've read something that it doesn't make a difference here. If it's true, why?

I thought most 206's had Clarion radios?
early models (non-plex) has a strange shaped radio with it's own small screen. Remote stalk is long and thin. That has a code.
later mux models had a rectangular radio without a screen so it uses the MFD on top of dash and remote is shorter and flatter. That is programmed into BSI.

I was thinking that if at some point an aftermarket unit had been fitted then the wires hadn't been swapped back and the unit was receiving a switched feed instead of a constant live which was causing it to reset.

Or it was swapped out for a reason .. the Blaupunkt is bust!

This is the head unit I have, guys.
Mine's non-plexed and there's that little screen on the top in the middle of the dash.

Well I'm a huge noob when we talk about electrics. What wire would be where, maybe you know?
What is more guys, I reallly think it started to ask for code after I took the head unit out for the first time or when I unplugged battery. What could I've done? I think I plugged all the wiring.
And hey, is it cool that everytime I start a car climate control goes to auto and AC on? And it doesnt work (even the screen keeps black) with ignition on, is that alright too?
