Hi, I needed to change my remote key fob as the buttons had broken but I didn't realise that there was also a transponder fitted in the old one which went out in the rubbish before I realised my mistake. I've now got a new virgin transponder, I know my key code but my own garage can't access my car info to make it work. I've tried doing the PLIP programming synchronisation procedure but that hasn't worked either so is there anyone near me (Gloucester) who has the PP technology thing, which is what I think need, to get my key working????. Appreciate any advice/help. Thanks

Wont work in this case.

You need Peugeot Planet / Diagbox, Lexia interface & your cars 4 digit alphanumeric security code to allow access in to code keys.

Your not the first & certainly wont be the last that have thrown the transponder chip out by accident.

OK - I have the 4 digit code so is the PP thing with Lexia interface something only dealers have or would members of this forum have one for their own use? Have I just got to go to a dealer now to get this done?

Plenty of us on here & other Peugeot / Citroen forums have Planet / Lexia / Diagbox kit.

Have a look here at this forum map / list of members who have it.
