Hi, I've had my 206 for over a year now, and I've never been happy with it when I start from cold. It always feels 'lumpy' like it's about to cut out or stall.
Any body got any ideas?

Well for a start you can clean the throttle body, and make sure everything working well in there, then if that don't fix the cold start, you can check the spark plugs, and also the coil, and most of all you need to check the fuel filter, when was the last time you replaced it?as you might have a clogged one, which leads to a bad start specially in the morning,as when the fuel pump prime the engine don't have enough fuel to start as it should.
Good luck, keep us posted please so that you can solve this, but if you disappear, and leave no further comments on the situation, then I'm afraid we can't help you right away.
