Hi guys. I am currently making some cosmetic improvements to my beloved old gal and am wanting to replace the steering wheel as it is extremely worn. My steering wheel is red and black leather. Mine is the old sort with the torx screw in airbag with two holes on the reverse to unbolt the torx screws. It is not the steering wheel that has a clip mounted airbag with a hole at the bottom to stick a screw driver in to pop off the airbag. I have searched eBay and everywhere else for a replacement but can not for the life of me find one from the 98-02 variant pugs with the screw in airbag. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one, or has anyone got one for sale or knows of one for sale. I would really appreciate this as I have to have a steering wheel cover on its that bad.

Many thanks

Nick

The non plexed red & black leather wheel is the rarest one to get hold of, they didn't make many.

Is it? Oh wow, might want to keep mine then Smile

Thought about a car interior re-doing service? I have the same issue (my red and black seats and wheel could do with some love) and I am trying to find a company or someone who can refurbish it all.

Alternatively I am going to look into black/red reclining buckets, however that doesn't solve my steering wheel...

All you can do is watch fleabay and scour the breakers that come up on there from time to time who are dismantling a CC.

You could try 247spares .. someone may have one sitting on a dusty shelf collecting even more dust ..

Or have yours re-covered .. ???

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
