I'd get the Peugeot adapter which gives you a 'safe' ISO plug in the car (can-bus wires not routed through) plus an ISO socket-to-bare-leads adapter and wire that to the HU and then plug them together.
Did the latter part for a Chinese HU for my moms Polo , joining the 16-pin plug-to-wires thingy that came with the HU (to be plugged into a socket on the back of the HU) to the wires of a generic ISO-socket-to-wires adapter, only wiring up the required wires, isolating the rest.
