Hey guys, I was about to go out driving today and my car wouldnt start, i tried to start it a lot, about 6 times in a period of a hour. I had no luck starting it, the battery is fine and charged. The car has had a new throttle body put on it, its also had a new cam sensor installed. I have done some pre-reading and these appear to be some suspect items.
This car has done this before in my ownership, but it had a perfect d period of starting first time since the start of October And now it has let me down.
I am borrowing an error code reader for tomorrow, how ever last time I got hold of it, it wasnt giving me any codes, so I'm not going to be hopeful this time.
If anyone has any fix suggestions, please tell me, Many thanks.
EDIT: The engine cranks over.

Is the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition on?

Yes the Fuel pump does prime, I tired using a scan tool today, but for some reason it doesn't take you through the car selection process as par normal with this tool but it instead goes straight through and says there are no codes, I plan to take it to a mechanic with a more sophisticated tool. As i presumed the car has now started, as thats what it normally does, In the past I've attempted to start with failed attempts and then came back 6 hours later and it will start up?
I'm puzzled as to what it could be

Sorry I realised that I didn't click to reply to you. Some Extra Info: when it fails to start, when I return for another go, lets say 12 hours , the car starts up fast, as if the engine already had a fuel supply and the engine barely turns over, and seamlessly starts. after this if that car is to restart it will go back to its normal turn over cycle to start.
Thankyou, Hope you're having a good holiday.
