Hey, I used search and I googled it but haven't found an answer. The car is my daily driver so it's quite urgent.
So my engine is idling rough and often stalls (today it stalled everytime I stoped at a traffic light). Earlier the idle wasn't very smooth but was okay, now I think it gets worse when engine gets hotter.
Could it be idle valve? If yes, would be please point me where could I find it? Does washing it with any sort of cleaner (carb, brakes) helps?
Could it be anything else?
All help appreciated. Thank you for your time, people.

If it will run cleanly with throttle applied it's likely to be the idle control valve at fault.

Thanks mate.
Where is that idle valve located? Is it on throttle body?
Should I just wash it with carb cleaner?

Most of the videos show 1.4 engine, there is like no information about s16 engines.
I've seen this video, I just asked if there is anything else I should do with it.
Thanks anyway, man.

I'll leave it for upcoming generations.
This is the location of idle control valve on EW10J4 engine:
Unbolt two screws, take the valve out, clean it with carb cleaner, put some cleaner inside the place where it sits and put it back together.
It helped a lot! It idles smooth and nice now.
