Redneck approach to taking a collision twist out of my bonnet. The point of impact was UK passenger's front corner and shoved the bonnet up on the driver's side.
Not having access to a jack, the baton is tight between the bonnet and the joist above, with a piece of baton as a foot to spread the weight to prevent a dent on the panel and sitting on a piece of camping mat to protect paintwork.
The opposite side is held open on a piece of 4x4 wrapped in camping mat
It will sit like this overnight and will hopefully be straightened out tomorrow.
Sitting on it wasn't working!

Not quite there, but an improvement on how it was (see profile pic).
Other side for comparison - relieved that the method did not raise the good side out of line, which I feared it might.
The problem is you can't put any more pressure on the high side as it meets the sill underneath and you can't go any lower.
One solution might be to bring the block a bit further round to the centre of the bonnet so the pressure is more intense on the high side and use less pressure to avoid creasing.
The good side also shows the shallow dent and scratches I have to ease out as well.

This ended quite well but not perfect - an even 0.5 centimetre high on both sides compared to the front wings - don't think I want to play with it any more. It is locking down securely.
