I need a new comm2000 unit for my 206 but a new one costs more than the car is worth! The one that came off the car has this code on it 9644682ZL, my question is if I buy a second hand one which has the same switches for the fog lights and no auto wipers etc but a different number will it work on my car? Cheers.

there's a bloke on Ebay & the Peugeot forum that can repair Com units - he has an excellent reputation. If you can be without the car for a couple of days you could send it away & get it repaired.

You are missing one digit from your code, should then be able to run an ebay search and find a match. I found a code match for my GTi 180 that came off from a 807 HDi model, works like charm!

Thanks for the responses but I managed to get a second hand stalk off eBay and fit that to my comm unit. All seems to be OK now except the air bag light is on......aaarrrgghhh!
