I have a problem with the aircon, it works fine except that I cannot set the temperature to less than 14 deg C, irrespective of the ambient temperature.

Is this the digital climate control system?
If it is then 14 is as low as it will go on the display, its just how the system is programed.

Ok, I just never noticed before that the lower limit was that high.

Take it to your local automotive cooling specialist or other place that does A/C.
A/C shouldnt be fiddled about with unless your trained, very easy to damage either the car or injure yourself

Does anyone know how good the seals are on the 206 air con units?
Been about 3 years since I used mine, and whilst it looks like it fires up, there's obviously no gas there [it had run out whilst working those 3 years ago].
Considering taking a punt on getting it filled to see if the seals just might be okay, but I'm assuming they'll be shot.

The seals will have dried up due to lack of use.
Needs a pressure / vacuum check before refilling the refrigerate.

Figured as much. Ah well, it'll have to wait until I've got a bit of spare money available to either get the kit or get it done. For now, I'll just have to fry
