Hi.
I need to replace the accelerator pedal on my 1.4 HDI as I suspect the attached sensor has become faulty (Diagnostic scan indicates this).

Will I need to 'mate' the replacement sensor (pedal) to the ECU ? If so, will I be able to do this ?
Many thanks. Smile

Hi Oil

I replaced the accelerator pedal on my 1.4 HDi when I had one and it doesn't need any setting up - just swap it over and plug it in.

Thanks for your advice. It was a great help
I've now replaced the accelerator pedal and as you say it did not need setting up with the ECU.
