Hi everyone ,
I have a 2002 206cc 2.0 manual.
It's a old lady ,ran 120000 km.
Every light on dashboard flash , speedo and techo become 0 for 3 times in a 50km drive today.
It did happen few times before but not in a same day.
I do know how to reset it( take off battery , put it back and turn on head light...)
But i would like to fix this problem.
Any idea where should i start to look at?
Ps: This happen mostly my wife on the passenger seat.If i drive it solo,it doesnt happen at all....
Thank you

There is a known wiring issue that can cause this problem on multiplexed 206's like yours, its caused by lose electrical terminal pins in the following connector plugs.
Shut down the BSI unit correctly then clean / squeeze the terminal pins below.
On the BSI:
Black 10 way connector. Terminal 8 wire 9004 and terminal 10 wire 9005.
On the instruments:
Blue 18 way connector terminal 4 wire 9004 and terminal 2 wire 9005.

Follow the battery disconnection instructions for a multiplexed 206 - should be in the FAQ section on this site.
DONT unplug the instrument panel or BSI connectors with the battery connected as it will store fault codes & the headlamps will come on when the instrument panel is unplugged ( cool Peugeot safety logic )

Correct.
Shut the car down correctly following the BSI shut down instructions then disconnect the battery - terminal.
