Hi all ive got 206 and been puting fuel in the light beaps saying no fuel i have used a different fuel float / pump but stil shows empty how do i fix im bit baffeld

Haven't had to mess with it myself, but if you've switched in a known working unit with no difference, that suggest a problem elsewhere.
Does the unit get power? Does it output a varying signal as the float moves? Does that varying signal reach the input on the BSI and/or instrument cluster? (not sure how the signal is routed/processed, pretty sure it varies with year / type of electrics the car has (pre-plex or multiplex)) Could be a broken, or shorted to ground, wire...

Could even be software bug if multiplexed.
IIRC one of the software version did have a fuel gauge bug present.
I'd try rebooting the BSI unit if it's multiplexed.

I tried this and it didn't work. Gauge is slowing going down but it shows the fake tank capacity
