I have the old style non miltiplexed clocks panel with 2 connectios on a 2001 206 cc 2.0.

The car seems to be imported from Ireland and has KPH speedo.

I notice that the UK version of the speedo hosts needle positions which are identical - only the fascia card with printed numbers seem to be different.

1. Can I simply remove the entire kph dashboard and replace with a mph version?

2. I appreciate that the kph mileage/odometer will be adjusted to whatever number is the larger with regards to the car's ECU and the new dashboard itself. This isn't a problem. My question is - will the odometer reading on the kph version in kilometres be automatically adjusted into miles on the new mph dashboard, if it even works at all?

A bad situation would be where the same reading as kilometres travelled is displayed as miles on the new dashboard!

Thanks for any advice...

On a NON plexed 206 like this - the total distance travelled is only stored in the clock set so it will display whatever is stored in the clocks that are fitted.

A long time ago, i managed to disassemble my clocks and take the piece out which had the speed written on. Im sure you could do the same and swap?
