So I bought a set of Morettes from ebay first mistake, dont worry my life story will follow, so I bought another set from facebook second mistake so now I have two sets of Morettes with one set partly working "ish"
Right so thought I'd treat the little 206cc (2005) to a set of Morettes always fancied a set so thought sod it when a cheap set popped up on ebay, besides I quite fancied the cold air fed set up from the light.
They turned up thought great then looked in to it to find what I was actually looking for was H4 versions not H7/H1 so figured balls I'll just get another set being H4 yeah talk about hens teeth.
So after looking for a while and deciding that buying 2 new lamps at £80 ish each from Morette wasn't happening I decided I'd just get another set as ideally I was looking to replace the dip beam unit as it seemed damaged so upon buying another set figured I'd make a half decent set to have on the car now and build a set up with H4 lamps if i come across them great idea in principle.
So on to the dilemma wiring them up just what a nightmare as mine is a 2005 model it has 3 pin double H7 lights (both sets of Morettes came with the H4 adapters) so after half the morning p**sing about I decided sod it I'll take the plug and loom out of my OE lights wicked think am getting somewhere then no matter what I did the bugger refused to do main beam I have everything else I even have 12v at the H1 bulbs that wont illuminate.
It's wired currently OE H7 wiring loom to the dip beam then H1 wired off the back of that using the red black wires.
But the real kicker is the passenger side dip beam works fine drivers side wont turn off until you turn the lights totally off.
It's fair to say that currently I want to set fire to it as everything I do is leading on to 2/3 other jobs.
Any help would be appreciated after spending 3 hours searching I still cant figure it out I have a few ideas I will try tomorrow but every little helps.

Have you earthed both sides?

It’s switched Earth via the multiplex it seems.
But yeah I’ve tried every combination of wiring diagram on here and google.
I’ve got it so it runs the dip beam currently on the old H7 wiring.
From what I’ve checked with the multi meter it has a shared live and yellow and red are Earth for each but for some god unknown reason mines reading constant 12v regardless of the lights are on or off yet they turn on when I turn the lights on but main beam goes to 0 if I add a bulb.
