Hi, hope someone can provide a solution for my problem. I have 206 2.0 Gti 2005 model that is running badly. I have checked the coil pack and all plugs have spark. All injectors are spraying fuel when cranking but injectors 2 and 3 stops spraying once engine is running. Then only injectors 1 and 4 are spraying fuel. I can disconnect the power cables to injectors 2 and 3 and nothing changes but the engine dies as soon as 1 and 4 is unplugged. Any ideas?
Sounds to me like the ECU is cutting fuel to 2/3 because it's detecting a misfire that would damage the cat if it kept spraying fuel.
Being as it's on 2 & 3, I'd suggest looking again at the coil pack/plugs etc since it's a "wasted spark" system where 1/4 and 2/3 are "companion" cylinders that both spark at the same time. They can spark just fine out in the open, but break down once in the heat/pressure of the cylinder.
Also have you pulled any codes from the ECU? My money is on ignition coil primary/secondary open or short circuit

Thanks ekjdm14. The coilpack was my first suspect but I was convinced otherwise by a well meaning 'mechanic' who showed me how all the plugs were sparking outside while cranking. I do get a misfire error code from the ecu. I have ordered a new coilpack and will let you know the result once installed.
