I appear to be getting the common 'door not closed' error, and bouncing central locking.
The dash display indicates its the driver's door that's the issue.
I've pulled the latch out, with the plan to replace it, however all the ones I'm seeing on Ebay have a totally different connector!
Mine:
Ignore the melty plastic, i hit it with a heat gun to try and get in there and tweak the sensors, and failed miserably in getting the grey cover off.
Car is a 2004 model (July build), if that makes any difference.
My question - are there different latch configs that I need to be aware of? Do I need to look for parts from a car after/before a certain date?

Looks like a standard central locking latch.
Some 206 also had DEADLOCKING fitted & these latches are & look slightly different.
There also not interchangeable.

Righto, thanks.
Pics of offerings on ebay all seem to have a different connection.
Looking like after about Y2K have the 6 pin plug
Incidentally, looks like the 306 use the same one
