Will the 206cc boot trim/handle fit the 206 gti 180?

Followed a CC the other day and I can probably safely say the trim will not fit a hatchback .. completely different shape.
And, now my memory has been jogged enough to get the brain cell working, remembering back to our CC the boot release is the actual boot lock which pushes in and not a catch under the trim.
