Hi , can anyone help me find a replacement solenoid , part number 1628CH . I can't even find any on ebay or breakers yards

It looks like a universal solenoid, used also for turbochargers in diesels, and not only in Peugeots.

How I found this: I looked up the part number, and the europarts24.com listing had a secondary P/N "1951610".

I then entered that in ebay, it only found international sellers, but one of them had another P/N cross-reference: 96414444

Looking up 96414444 on ebay brought me to the Fiat part above.

Brand new this costs around £55 at the stealership's.

P.S. Many eBay sellers don't bother with part numbers. So once identified its manufacturer (Eaton), can also look for "Eaton Peugeot" on eBay, now this appears:
