The spoiler on my 206 is the small GTi HDi one, however my old 206 has the larger GTi spoiler how do I remove both and what would people suggest to secure the larger one to my current 206. Ive Heard of people using strong liquid bonds alone. Is this a good option or is bolting it on going to be the way forward. Much apprectiate all advice please thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if they are genuine pug and factory fitted then they will be bolted on and no glue used. Off the top off my head they are held on by 4 T15 Torc screws (or possibly T20). Just simply open the tailgate and locate them at the top under each end of the spoiler. Un screw and wobble a bit as it may not come off that easily if it's been on a long time.

To put a new one on most people use tiger seal as it does the job perfectly and bolting a new one on without precision is a pain + if you try and get it off will wreck the tailgate as it will have holes in it.. Having said that even using tiger seal you should apply without the intention that you will need to take it off in the near future as it's a right pain.

well the bolts if it's OEM fitting can't be seen when you open the tailgate, because they are hidden under 2 black plastic covers, you need to remove, and you will find the bolts under it,this is a few pics of it:

and when you hit these pins you saw in the pics, they will fill inside the tail gate, and to take them out,you need to take off the rear whiper motor cover, and use a hover to have them out from the corners.

then when you fit the new spoiler, use the bolts and tiger seal to prevent any future noise coming with bumpy roads :D,good luck.

Fair enough I bought mine with the tailgate already taken off so that was probably already removed. Your saying you have taken off everything and you are left with bare metal but can't see any bolts?

Ah fair enough, I've never tried to get one off like that before. I would have thought melting it something, maybe a heat gun? even from the inside.. but can easily damage the paint. Sorry I couldn't help more.
