Everyone else seems to be doing these project threads so i thought id start one aswell, u can give any feedback u want although u probably wont change my opinion lol enjoy hopefully

heres how it looked originally, 1st night of owning it in snow !

another pic of it cleaned originally

got painted interior and sp door handles, followed by sony xplod ice set up and footwell neons, no pics of this atm will do some time

next got some black angel eyes, nice guy called mat off here

finally got alloys after waiting ages for the 4th 1 to be delivered, these 1s

got them fitted, no pics of them alone also bought an sp grill
then went 2 a breakers n got gti front bumper, spoiler and arches, these soon went on

got me bro in law 2 help me (pictured)

after all fitted

then got some sp pedals

new lexus rear lights to match black theme

fitting the lights, u can also see my amp n sub enclosure which usually is at the side of the boot

then bought smoked fog light and 3rd brake light

afterwards

then got windows tinted, by essex shades with amy

now im waiting on a new bonnet vent, smoked side repeaters and black front bump strip to be delivered. will post pics when they arrive.

UPDATE 29/05/10

got my vents n side repeaters delivered n on. bump strip turned up as front reinforcer bar so have to wait 4 another 1. heres the pics

just got to get rid of the look stickers lol havent bothered yet

and heres my future ride Smile

right plans changed a bit because i was on my way 2 see anthony_839 when some woman overtook me on the wrong side of the road because i slowed down 2 turn right. because of this she was in my blind spot when i turned right n banged it !

Not good.

Ok went to elite today n they did the diagnostic of the car didnt look too amazing, but after adjusting the front toe it brught the camber back in and then just re-aligned the steering wheel etc. Great news only cost £35 ! Now I need to find some sport wings, anybody selling??

more updates when i have them

If your going to do a engine conversion, and dont want to do the 2.0GTi

the 106 GTi and saxo VTs is the next best thing

I'm slightly biased to the 106 engine as that what im using

Ah okay, the 106 engine has 10bhp more than 206 one Razz

Ive heard of V-Tec engines dropped in 206's in Asia, never over here tho Wink

Nice little project mate Thumb Up

Like Mattie said if it's an engine conversion you want to do get yourself a TU5J4 engine out of a 106 GTi/Spaxo VTShite and get a TU5JP4 Head from a 206 XSi. Alot of the 106 boys do it as the J4 bottom ends on the 106s are alot better but the JP4 heads have got bigger valves. Also always use 106 internals head internals when fitting the JP4 head as they are much better aswell compare to the JP4 internals.
